Happy spring — Katie Pratt and I will pick up where we left off last fall, talking about and showing photos from FRANCE IS A FEAST: the Photographic Journey of Paul and Julia Child. We start on Mon 4/30 at the famous and funky Powell’s Books in Portland, proceed to Elliott Bay Books in Seattle on Wed 5/2, then for you Bay Area-ites we’ll be at Diesel Books in Larkspur 5/3, Book Passage in the Ferry Building in SF on 5/4, then up to the Napa Valley Museum in Yountville — which is currently exhibiting Paul Child’s photos and memorabilia (curated by Katie Pratt) — on Sat 5/5.
